As Head of Transformation at BRAC Saajan, Abu leads strategic change initiatives spanning strategy, operations, technology, data analytics, and commercial development. Since joining in 2023, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s strategy, growth trajectory and driving modernisation across core business functions.
His work at BRAC Saajan encompasses strategy and organisational development, business intelligence and product ownership to drive company growth. He combines strategic thinking with deep technical execution, building data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and inform decision-making across the organisation. He also leads the company’s marketing and design functions, defining brand and corporate image.
Prior to BRAC Saajan, Abu built and scaled operations across multiple sectors. He played a key role in rapidly growing a nationwide healthcare startup from inception, leading cross-functional initiatives across marketing, quality management, compliance, and technology — including guiding the business through UKAS ISO-15189 accreditation.
Abu is a self-taught, first-principles thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset. He is passionate about leveraging data, automation, and emerging technologies to drive operational excellence, financial inclusion, and long-term sustainable growth.
