Abdullah Al Mizan is the Head of IT & Business Systems at BRAC Saajan Exchange Limited and has been part of the organization since 2017, where he leads the organization’s technology strategy, core systems, and digital transformation initiatives across multiple countries.

With over a decade of progressive experience in software engineering, IT leadership, and large-scale remittance system implementation, Mizan plays a pivotal role in ensuring that BRAC Saajan’s technology platforms remain secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business growth objectives.

Since joining BRAC Saajan, he has overseen the end-to-end development and modernization of the company’s remittance ERP, digital channels, agent systems, and API integrations with banks, payment gateways, and international partners. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening information security controls, accelerating software release cycles, and embedding agile delivery practices across the technology team.

Mizan has led multiple mission-critical initiatives, including mobile and web remittance platforms, automated AML and transaction screening systems, treasury and send-and-receive platforms, and deep integrations with global banking and payout partners. He works closely with senior management, compliance, operations, and external stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into robust technology solutions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and an MBA in Accounting & Information Systems, and has received professional training in project management, agile methodologies, and enterprise system design. His expertise spans enterprise application development, database architecture, cloud and server infrastructure, cybersecurity governance, and large-scale system integration.
